Elkay Man­u­fac­tur­ing, the owner of MR Di­rect, was purchased by Zurn Wa­ter So­lu­tions in 2022. The merged company, Zurn El­kay Wa­ter Solu­tions, closed MR Di­rect almost immediately after the merger was completed.
